Content Policy

IlmAudio hosts lectures, recitations, and other educational audio and video. This policy sets out what may be published on the platform and how we handle material that falls short.

What we expect

  • Attribution. Content must be correctly attributed to the speaker, scholar, or organization responsible for it. Do not misrepresent who produced or endorsed a recording.
  • Rights. You must hold or have secured the rights to everything you upload, including recordings, translations, artwork, and background audio.
  • Accuracy of metadata. Titles, descriptions, and series structure should describe the content honestly, not chase search traffic.

Not permitted

  • content that incites, glorifies, or threatens violence, or that supports violent extremist organizations;
  • harassment, hateful conduct, or content that attacks people on the basis of protected characteristics;
  • sexually explicit material, or content that sexualizes minors in any way;
  • content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • impersonation of a scholar, organization, or institution;
  • deceptive manipulation of listening figures, rankings, or reviews;
  • malware, phishing, or links intended to defraud listeners.

Reporting

If you encounter content that appears to breach this policy, email arhamsiddiqui344@gmail.com with a link to the item and a short description of the problem. Copyright complaints follow a separate process — see Copyright / DMCA.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may remove or restrict content, limit its distribution, suspend publishing rights, or terminate an account. We aim to notify the affected creator with a reason, except where notice would be unlawful or would put someone at risk. Creators may appeal a decision by emailing arhamsiddiqui344@gmail.com.

Editorial independence

IlmAudio distributes content from many scholars and institutions. Hosting a recording is not an endorsement of the views expressed in it, and differences of opinion between contributors are not on their own grounds for removal.
