These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IlmAudio (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Beta service
IlmAudio is currently in beta. Features, content, and availability may change, be interrupted, or be removed at any time, and we do not guarantee that the Service or any particular content will remain available. We welcome feedback at arhamsiddiqui344@gmail.com.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
Your licence to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream content made available on the Service for your own non-commercial listening. You may not:
- download, copy, rip, or redistribute content except where we expressly offer that feature;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access-control measures;
- use automated means to scrape, index, or bulk-download the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or publicly perform content without permission from the rights holder;
- use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
Content on the Service
Lectures, recitations, series, and other audio and video on the Service remain the property of the scholars, organizations, and other rights holders who provide them. IlmAudio does not claim ownership of that material and makes it available under licence. Availability of any particular item may change without notice.
Creator and organization accounts
If you upload content, you represent that you hold — or have secured — all rights necessary to distribute it through the Service, and you grant IlmAudio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, encode, stream, and display that content and its associated artwork and metadata for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You may withdraw content at any time, subject to reasonable processing time and to copies retained in backups.
Content you upload must comply with our Content Policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate it.
Playlists and user contributions
Playlists, titles, descriptions, and other material you create are yours. By making them public or sharing them, you grant us permission to display and distribute them through the Service. You are responsible for what you post.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email arhamsiddiqui344@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will delete it and confirm by reply. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision would create a security or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Religious, educational, and other views expressed in content on the Service belong to the speakers and contributors and do not necessarily reflect the views of IlmAudio. Nothing on the Service is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IlmAudio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
